Back again with the penultimate monthly roundup of the year and to be honest I was a little disappointed with myself at the amount of movies that I was able or unable to watch, depends on which way you look at it. October was a busy month with a lot of birthdays and outings and with all that out of the way I thought I was going to be able to get back on track with a lot of movie watching in November but for one reason or another it just didn’t happen. I found myself playing a little more Xbox than I have done for a while and my wife and I started to watch a lot more TV than we ever have done in the past which is something we don’t really do as we will either watch a series on Netflix or a movie, very rare to we actually tune in to what’s on regular programming. Taking into account all of these factors and mixing that with the little trip to Scotland that we took together I only managed to squeeze out twelve movies this month and have probably derailed myself getting to the 300 movie milestone as I currently stand at 256 movies and with Christmas right around the corner I don’t think it’s a feasible target anymore.
With that being said out of the small selection of movies that I did manage to watch, most of them were very enjoyable with movies such as Rex and The Foreigner standing out as a couple of the better films. Obviously not all movies can be winners and Sweet Virginia was pretty abysmal and will be very close to the bottom of the list when I come to look back at my year of movies when the year rings out. As ever I have compiled a list ranked from best to worst of the movies that I was able to view with a link to each one if any of you guys want to go back and check them out. Until next time, thanks for stopping by and I’ll be back soon with some more reviews.
